- Episode #22 - What's My Line, Part 2: Willow and Oz. The coup at the zoo because of the monkey pants... - "I mock you with my monkey pants!"
- Episode #25 - Surprise: The monkey on the table in Buffy's dream - Willow: (to the monkey) "L'hippo a pique' ses pantalons."
- Episode #43 - The Wish: One of Cordelia's final wishes - "*And* that Willow wakes up tomorrow covered in monkey hair.
- Episode #49 - Consequences: When Wesley is phoning the watcher's council - "The code word? Monkey."

- Episode #104 - Flooded: While the nerd trio discuss what they can do, Andrew comments, "I had nothing to do with the devil dogs. I trained flying demon monkeys to attack the school play."
- Episode #111 - Gone: Along with a mention of "drunken monkey" fighting moves, there's another reference to Andrew's exploits at the school play.
- Episode #113 - Dead Things: Referring to Xander's dancing at The Bronze, Willow refers to it as "The Funky Monkey" which is then commented on by Xander and Tara.
Then you've also got Xander being everyone's "cuddle monkey" in Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered, everyone's "butt-monkey" in Buffy vs Dracula and Spike describes him as "monkey boy" in Forever and later in the same episode Xander refers to Spike saying "The guy thinks he can put on a big show and con Buffy into being his sex monkey."... And there's also a Wizard Of Oz reference in The Pack when Buffy refers to them as "winged monkeys"... Plus in Wild At Heart, Xander comments about "Wild monkey love" when chatting to Willow...

- Episode #40 - Dead End: Lyndsey describes Angel's status - "Angel? - He's up, he's down. He's good, he's bad. He's a barrel of dead monkeys..."
- Episode #56 - Provider: As The Host is trying to translate for the Nahdrahs, "They either have to consult with their prince or go eat a cheese monkey."
